Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this K-Source passenger side replacement electric side-view mirror. Now this is a custom fit part, it is designed to fit the 2007 to 2013 Toyota Tundra trucks, and on a custom fit part like this, I do recommend for you to go to our website and use the fit guide. Put in your year and model vehicle and it'll show you if this'll work for your application. Now this side-view mirror is a direct replacement for your passenger side factory mirror that's on your vehicle. As you can see, this mirror is modeled after the manufacturer's original look and fit, does offer a power remote capability.
You can adjust the mirror face position with the factory power controls that are inside your vehicle. It does use an OE-grade convex glass that has a first-surface plating to reflect clear images and the front of the glass is plated with a reflective chrome. And this is a passenger side, so it does use a convex lens which provides a nice wide-angle view that reduces any blind spots. It is a breakaway design, the mirror will fold when it's struck to prevent any breakage and you can see it is in a nice durable plastic housing with a textured black finish to it. It is an easy, no drill installation.
You can see it has the same footprint and mounting points as your factory mirror and the mirror will plug in to your existing electrical wiring. Here's where your plug will go. A few specs on this, this part will replace the original equipment part number 879100C231. And this is for a quantity of one passenger side mirror. Now, one last note I do wanna mention on this is the power remote capability on this mirror will work only if your vehicle already has that function.
